JUMPSTARTER IdeaPOP! is a pitching competition organized by Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and it aims to nurture the next generation with an entrepreneurial mindset. This year, over 1,000 students have participated in this competition and only 10 finalist teams were shortlisted by a panel of professional judges comprising industry experts, investors and startup experts. Our student team from HD in Software Engineering (IT114105), Department of Information Technology, IVE(Tuen Mun), was the only sub-degree team in the final stage. Among other competitors from HKU, CUHK, HKUST, etc, our team defeated the university teams and won the Champion with an eBadge platform.

Three students from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tuen Mun) Higher Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Mobile Software Development. The three award-winning students include Yeung Man Kit, Yeung Yik Man and Yiu Chi Wai. Earlier in the 7th Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Relying on the "Customer Intelligence Analysis Platform (Smart Concept Store)" to achieve excellent results. Congratulations to the three winners!
